Training
Most people don't know or have trouble training their dog, especially if their personalities differ. Some respond to tenderness and coaxing while others melt at a firm tone of voice. Some are dominant and require strength of muscle as well as strength of will. Others are just eager to please. Some learn fast and others can be slow. And not all instructors have the ability to read their behavior either.
Our training focuses on:
- Positive reinforcement
- Giving your dog a role in the household
- Clarifying communication between dog and owner
Dog psychology suggests that dogs :
- Are predators
- Are territorial
- Live within a social environment
- Possess a purpose or role withing that environment
